Go to www.mirc.com and download mIRC. after you install mIRC this is what you need to do:
run the program. close the little pop up window that comes up in front of the mirc window.
in the MIRC window, click on TOOLS and then OPTIONS.
on the left side, click OPTIONS under the CONNECT section
on the right side, click the PERFORM button
at the top, check the box that says Enable perform on connect, then in the big box below it, type the following line:
/join #idlepimps
then click OK twice
go to Tools then Options again
now click on SERVERS under the CONNECT section
on the right side, click ADD on the top right
fill in the following only:
Description: idlepimps
IRC Server: irc.idlegaming.net
then click the ADD button
then click OK
and the top left button that has 2 yellow lightning bolts on it.. that's the connect button
you're ready to connect
once in chat if your name isn't registered, type /msg nickserv register password email addy
then click on TOOLS and then OPTIONS
on the left side, click OPTIONS under the CONNECT section
on the right side, click the PERFORM button
then in the big box again, enter /msg nickserv identify password above the line /join #idlepimps
if you have a gang room, below /join #idlepimps type /join #room name
click OK twice
then every time you come in you'll join those rooms and you'll be automatically identified and get any ops that you have in any channels

to register a channel, first join it, and it will make you an op in that channel, then type the following:
/msg chanserv register #channelname password description

for help with chanserv commands type:
/msg chanserv help
for help with nickserv commands type:
/msg nickserv help
