THE BASICS

Networth – the accumulated amount of money you are worth that is comprised of the amount of thugs you have multiplied by their value, the amount of hoes you have multiplied by their value, the amount of rides you have multiplied by their value (if rides are assigned a value), the amount of kevlar you have multiplied by their value (if kevlar are assigned a value), the amount of crack you have multiplied by its value, and the amount of spare cash you may be carrying.

Deadnet – what your networth is (or will be) without any thugs.  [This is calculated by multiplying the hoe worth for the round by how many hoes the pimp has, the amount of crack multiplied by the crack worth, and how many rides the pimp has multiplied by the ride’s value for the round.]

Zero (ex. to zero a pimp) – kill off a pimp’s thugs.

Diving - selling thugs (crack, or anything else that would add to networth… and using that money to buy supplies) in order to lower your networth.  Usually, this is done to get lower in rankings to be able to hit a pimp that is not in your range, but it may also be used to be able to guarantee a hit on someone who is going to turn but may not jump into your range, to protect gangmates, or any other desired reason you may have to be lower in networth.

Dropping – Killing all of a pimp’s thugs off in order to make it easier to steal his/her hoes.  This is a quick way to gain a good amount of hoes without having to produce hoes through constant trick-turning.

Spinning – using your turns; turning tricks.

Forum whore – someone who is constantly posting in the forums.

Multi(-ing) – a) to turn tricks many times consecutively

……………..b) To have activated more then one account, to be have more then one pimp which is a BANNABLE OFFENSE and is AGAINST THE RULES.

Avatar - a small picture or video clip that may be uploaded to Idlepimps.  This option may be selected in the “Preferences” link on the main page and is located near a pimp’s name in their profile, near a pimps name in console messages, or near their name in the forums - usually used to make a statement, as representation, or advertisement of your pimp.

Padder - one who superficially pimps/plays only in attempts to increase certain stats just for the appearance.

Suicide – to kill another pimp/gang - all the while knowing that you will not be able to get back up to the position that you began with, or possibly higher in ranks.  This is usually done without the intentions of stealing hoes or regaining/buying thugs afterwards, and with the objective of zeroing another pimp(s).  

NB (No Boundaries) – a version of Idlepimps in which one would have to either be invited to or donate at least 5$ to be able to sign up for.  This is a separate game from the free version , where you have more turns, experience different game play, and practice your skills.

Gank – to rob someone of their money.

Hoe gank – to rob someone of their hoes when they turn up on very little thugs.

Thugwhore – (a method of pimping: thugwhoring) one who pimps without stealing many hoes and does nothing but turns and buys thugs (in attempts to climb in ranks).  Usually these pimps are very selective when using the attack button as to avoid losing their chance to climb in the ranks, but are known to try to attack anyone who may pose a threat once they are high in the city…usually towards the end of the round.

Crackie/Crackpimp – (a method of pimping) one who chooses use all the money he/she gets from turning tricks to stock lots of crack; and usually does not bother to buy supplies other then crack and condoms to keep their hoes happy.  Usually these are the pimps who do not wish to play the game to its full potential, choose not to spend much effort playing, and/or aim for high ranks. 

Spread (spreadsheet) – a program (ex. Microsoft Excel) modified that is used to quickly calculate important values and amounts such as amount of crack to send to a pimp, a pimp’s deadnet, etc. by inputting (copy and pasting) a pimp’s information within the program.

Producing (hoes) - the process of gaining hoes by using turns.
